Finding a balance

Welcome to my website. I have been treating people with acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping since 2002. I am registered with The British Acupuncture Council.

I am happy to discuss how treatment might help you.

Acupuncture and Western medicine

NICE & NHS
recommendations

There are many conditions and symptoms that acupuncture can help with. The NHS and NICE currently welcome acupuncture for conditions such as chronic pain, tension type headaches and migraines. Acupuncture can be used safely with medications and alongside Western medical treaments.

Acupuncture and you

How can
Acupuncture
help you

Acupuncture uses fine needles along channels or pathways called meridians on the body where the body's energy or Qi flows. Science shows myofascial pathways trace these channels. Needles are inserted to relieve pain and bring relaxation by stimulating the nervous system. Acupuncture can be used safely alongside any conventional treatments and medication, and I am trained to degree level in acupuncture which includes pathology and anatomy, and warning signs of disease. I have over 20 years experience and remain vigilant with my clients so that they can receive safe treatments and communicate to the GP about it with confidence.
